Docents: A weekly or monthly commitment.
Docents are the life-blood of the daily experience at any museum. Are you interested in Tucson’s history and looking for a way to share your interest with others? Docents provide tours, offer general information to visitors, and often lead activities at events.
For more information contact: Ginger Thompson at GingerT@TucsonPresidio.com.

Living History Volunteers: A monthly commitment
Living History volunteers are living historians who bring Fort Lowell to life by conducting demonstrations, explaining displays, and showing visitors what it was like to live on the frontier in the late 1700s and early 1800s.
For more information contact Kate Avalos at KateA@TucsonPresidio.com.
We also accept youth volunteers (10-17 years old) who lead activities or apprentice as interpreters at Living History events. We are always looking for new youth volunteers.
