History in the Park Events

History comes alive on 4th Saturdays at the Fort Lowell Museum!

Visitors can enjoy historic demonstrations, displays, and hands-on activities for the entire family. Visitors will get a glimpse into what life was like for the Fort Lowell soldiers, Apache Scouts, and their families, as well as other people living in nearby Tucson.

Modern Marvels: 19th Century Innovations – History in the Park 

The 21st century saw a life-changing technological revolution, but we are not the first ones to experience this. Progress hit hard and fast in the second half of the 1800s. Women also played a major role in this progress, becoming engineers, pilots, and environmental scientists. 

Experience the music of the time period with an 11 am concert by the 4th Cavalry Regimental Band of Fort Lowell.
