After a discussion of the fascinating beginnings of the University in 1885, our guide will lead attendees on a 1.25-mile, 2.5-hour walk of the historic core of campus beginning with the Main Gate and continuing in approximate chronological order. The architecture of the older buildings varies from Classical Revival to Italian and Spanish Romanesque. You will also visit newer landmarks such as the Women’s Plaza of Honor and the Student Union Memorial Center. The tour will end with a brief visit to the facade of the Arizona History Museum. Pre-registration is required.

***This tour is 1.25-miles long and meets at the Main Gate Garage entrance at 815 E. 2nd St.
