The official film of Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail. In 1775, Captain Juan Bautista de Anza began an epic expedition that would change history. Anza was joined by over 240 settlers, soldiers, and several thousand head of livestock gathered from locations as far south as Culiacan, Mexico. Together they made the difficult 1,200 mile journey from Tubac, Arizona, to San Francisco, California. The journey was filled with challenges and obstacles, yet perseverance and loyalty ensured the success of the expedition.
