Rick Collins, Presidio Museum board member and local historian, will discuss diseases and their impact on the Native Americans after Kino's arrival in addition to the daily illnesses that were dealt with in a "less than hygienic environment." Collins will also explore the various health and social pressures on the northern Sonora frontier of New Spain. $5 per person.
