Note: This camp is 90 minutes longer than the one offered at the Presidio Museum. 

Let’s experiment!  This camp explores how science and experimentation are used to reveal the past. Campers will use experiential archaeology, tree ring dating and ancient technologies to discover the secrets of history.  They will learn how arrowheads are made (flintknapping), analyze pottery, make pottery, try tree ring dating (dendrochronology), make paint and natural dyes and more. 

Oh!  And when they get hot and tired, we’ll cool off at the splash pad or the pool!

Minimum Age: 8 years old
Cancellation policy:  All fees will be returned if camp registration is cancelled up to seven days before camp begins.
After this time, 75% of the fees will be returned for cancellations.

Lunch and snacks are NOT provided. 

A full packet of camp information will be provided to all camp families.
