This camp is a week of in-depth cultural discovery with special local guests every day.  Campers will learn about the people and cultures who have made Tucson the place it is today. They will learn the origin of the city’s name, the significance of 250, and what the + stands for.  Activities may include a tour of the original Presidio wall, traditional food, traditional O'odham pottery, Yaqui Deer Eye Necklaces, a visit with Buffalo Soldier re-enactors, and more.

Recommended for ages 8-14

Minimum Age: 7 years old
Cancellation policy:  All fees will be returned if camp registration is cancelled up to seven days before camp begins.
After this time, 75% of the fees will be returned for cancellations.

Lunch and snacks are NOT provided. 

A full packet of camp information will be provided to all camp families.
