Archaeologist Homer Thiel leads this walk through the former Court Street Cemetery, where about 8,000 people were buried between 1875 and 1909. When it was closed, about half were reinterred but the other half were left in place.  The tour will lead you through the cemetery, show you where bodies have been found and reveal the history of this forgotten place.

The tour will being at the southwest corner of Stone and Speedway.  Parking is available here.  The tour is a walking tour, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen and bring water.  If you have any questions, please call the Presidio Museum at 520-622-0594, or email info@TucsonPresidio.com.
