Presented by Dr. Michael S. Engs. Dr. Engs is an avid historian with a passion for the history of African people in the new world and the southwest. His work to further the digital impact of the Presidio Museum is being supported by the Arizona Humanities Council, The Marshall Foundation, and the National Parks Service He is currently developing materials for local cultural organizations, including the Presidio Museum, that share information of the African peoples of Spanish Colonial America.
