Jose de Urrea was a Mexican general and Governor of Sonora who was the son of Maríano de Urrea, a Lieutenant and then Captain of the Tucson Presidio. He played a significant role in Mexico's history, yet now most people have not heard of one of Tucson's most influential sons.
