\n **Gladys Franklin – active with historic and artistic endeavor s in Tucson\, she died in the same room she was bo rn in on Main Avenue at 89.
\n **Edit h Kitt – Ran the Arizona Historical Socie ty for years
\n **Bettina Steinfeld – wife of Albert Steinfeld\, Merchant Prin ce of the Southwest
\n **Annie Neal C heyney – had the Cheyney House built on M ain Avenue
\n **Atanacia Hughes (pictured here) – married to Sam Hughes at age 13 or so\, gave birth to 15 children (pictured ab ove).

***Thi s tour covers 1/4 of a mile in two hours and begin s at Café a la C’art at 150 N. Main Ave. It follows the same route as the Mansions of Main Avenue Walking Tour and is a good tour for people who want more information and less walking .
