 is research social scientist and has been at the S
 outhwest Center since 1992. Yetman’s research has 
 been primarily directed towards the state of Sonor
 a\, its indigenous people\, their history\, and ho
 w they have incorporated native resources into the
 ir lives. He has written numerous journal articles
  and books. In addition to his writing\, Yetman se
 rved for nine years as host for the PBS documentar
 y television series <em>The Desert Speaks </em>and
  currently produces and hosts the PBS series In th
 e Americas with David Yetman. He received Emmy Awa
 rds in 2007 and 2014 for his documentary televisio
 n work.<br />\n <br />\n And be sure to enjoy a co
