Have you ever wondered about the people who were responsible for the creation and growth of the city of Tucson? In this camp your kids will learn about these cultures through a series of hands on activities and demonstrations provided by various cultural organizations around Tucson:
**Representatives from the Tohono O’odham Nation will demonstrate traditional pottery making to share Tohono O’odham culture.
**Tucson Chinese Cultural Center representatives will teach attendees the Lion Dance to share the Chinese culture
**Dancers from Danzacultura Folklorico will teach children about the Mexican culture through dance.
**Other organizations involved in the camp include the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and the Jewish History Museum.
We are excited to share the Cultures of Tucson with you and your children!
