Rick Collins will review the misery, the excitement and the social aspects of Fort Lowell soldiers during the Indian Wars.
Collins is a National Park Ranger at Tumacácori National Historical Park. He served 6 years as President of the Tucson Presidio Trust, serves on the Board of the Tubac Historical Society, and on the Board of the Empire Ranch Foundation. He creates exhibits and interpretive materials for the Tubac Presidio Historic Park. His job at Tumacácori includes researching the history and that opens the door to some fascinating stories.
**Lectures are held in the Monsoon Room at JoJo’s Restaurant across the street from the Presidio Museum at 201 N. Court Ave.
