DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS OFRENDAS/ALTARS
We invite you to participate! All are welcome!
We encourage the public to create ofrendas (altars) for this year’s Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration at the Presidio Museum. The ofrenda exhibition, honoring loved ones and remembering those who have passed, is truly the heart and soul of this important cultural event.
The ofrendas will be outdoors, under the cover of the porch on the Presidio Museum’s Territorial Patio. They will be on display to paying customers during the museum’s operating hours of 10 am to 4 pm, Tuesdays through Sundays, from Wednesday, October 26 to Sunday, November 6, 2022. The Presidio will be closed and locked at all other times.
