School Programs

The Presidio San Agustin has a number of programs designed for school children both in the classroom and at the Presidio. Friday at the Fort and Morning Muster provide hands-on learning opportunities for children who visit as part of a field trip.  Volunteers present a variety of activities to small groups of children from calligraphy to household chores to games. The Historic Hats of Arizona program brings history to life in the classroom.  Volunteers acquaint children with the people of Arizona's past by presenting different hats and talking about the individual who might have worn that hat.  Click here to learn more details about the school programs.

We are always recruiting volunteers to help us present our school programs.  Training will be provided.  All volunteers working with children will be interviewed and a background check may be required.

Please call Jean at 742-4305 for more information.
