“An Evening in the Presidio District” will begin at 5 pm at the Presidio Museum with Agave spirits demonstration and tastings presented by Young's Market.  

The following spritis will be featured:

  • *Chamucos Tequila Blanco,
  • *Reposado,
  • *Añejo Por Siempre Sotol
  • *Agave de Cortes Mezcal


In addition to the tastings, participants will enjoy a chile relleno con queso appetizer and the melodic voices of Kersting and Hall.

After enjoying the beautiful evening ambiance inside the walls of the reconstructed Presidio, guests will walk across the street at their leisure to the heart of Tucson’s real Old Town, La Cocina Restaurant, for a delicious dinner beginning with an Autumn vegetable salad with Presidio fig viniagrette and housemade Sonoran white wheat baguettes.  Main course choices will be accompanied by one signature La Cocina cocktail and include:

  • *Lemon Caper Penne with choice of Mesquite Smoked Chicken or Salmon
  • *Red-wine Braised Pot Roast with Mild Roasted Chile
  • *Roasted Vegetable Napoleon with Herbed Goat Cheese


Dinner will conclude with a Local Pecan and Quince Mousse Cake

The Old Town Artisans block is the longest inhabited set of buildings in all of Tucson – built in the 1850’s, right over the remains of the original Presidio wall.
